Organized by the Love Lake Hawkins Association, one of the best fireworks shows in East Texas is launched from the Lake Hawkins dam and is paid for with sponsorships from local businesses. Next to being in a boat on the lake, the best seats in the house are on our beach, adjacent to the dam.

Help us out by remembering these park rules:
speed limit throughoutpark is 5 mph, even for your suped-up golf cart- watch out for our most valuable park visitors, children
- swim at your own risk, no lifeguard on duty
- no alcohol, smoking or glass bottles on
beach - cigarette butts, broken glass, and soggy diapers are a turn off to our beachgoers
other park visitors may not like your music, so keep volume levels low - no dogs allowed on
beach , they tend to treat the sand as one big fire hydrant - no cooking on the beach, hot coals
and bare feet don’t mix - have a great time and according to our local groundskeeper: “watch out for sharks!”
